The Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority meets monthly. Meetings are open to the public and agendas are posted 48 hours in advance.
On May 16, the Asheville City Soccer Club will be playing a match at UNCA’s Greenwood Field. A group of us will be handing out flyers to fans attending the match, laying out alternative sites for a soccer stadium and urging fans to contact the owners of the club to ask them to pull out of the woods proposal.
We’ll be handing out flyers between 6 and 6:30, and it will be a friendly occasion, as we’ve found in the past that most fans agree with us. If you can help us, please contact Dennis Ash via email at ceniza365@gmail.com.
Date: May 16
Time: 6–6:30 p.m.
Location: Greenwood Field, 200 Field Dr, 28804
